Savoury spiced granola

Try this flavorful granola on salads or as a garnish for soups.

 The addition of spicy chickpeas, oats, seeds, and almonds to simple foods gives them a delicious crunch.

350g giant oats. 100 grams of mixed seeds 80 gram peanuts

Ingredients

250 g canned chickpeas. 1 ½ teaspoon chilli flakes

2 tsp turmeric, 2 tsp ground cumin, 2 tsp crushed coriander seeds. 2 heaping teaspoons flaky sea salt. 80 ml rapeseed oil

Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.

 In an oven tray, mix the oats, mixed seeds, peanuts, chickpeas (drained and patted dry), chilli flakes, turmeric, ground cumin, crushed coriander seeds, and flaky sea salt.

 Mix in rapeseed oil. Stir halfway through baking for 25–30 minutes until gently brown and crispy.

Cool fully before storing (see below). Sprinkle on soups and salads.
